Local government in the inner city is in a state of flux (as usual) and it looks like that the City Council will shortly incorporate South Sydney (once again). Sydney was visited yesterday by the largest passenger ship - the "Star Princess" - ever to enter the harbour. Here it is moored at Sydney Cove - panorama - large crowds assembled to gawk at it. It was an odd thing I thought - like a floating apartment block, reminiscent in many ways of the land-bound apartments on the other side of the cove, the East Circular Quay development.
