The State government has decided to chop down a row of trees alongside the Domain - claiming that they are moribund and prone to drop limbs on the public. Local Green politicians say it is a ploy to get more rentable space for commercial uses of the Domain. The panorama from yesterday morning shows a gathering of concerned local artists.
