VROOM, VROOM !!! ... Surfers Paradise, in southern Queensland, was a hectic place on the weekend with the city full of vast crowds for the annual Indy 300 car racing there. The street circuit built for the races winds its way in striking fashion through a landscape of high rise beach-front apartments and mangrove-fringed lagoons and marinas. Frenchman, Nelson Philippe won the Champ Car series race ... panorama ... after an incident-filled race.
